Shortcuts are hidden

Shortcuts are not visible in Tree view. Is there a way to fix that? As an example, I configured my public_html folder as a shortcut. After the changes public_html is gone. Thank you.

In the linux world they're most likely symlinks, and yes they're hidden by default. I could not find an option to show them.
