Some songs "Couldn't be played"

SEE ISSUE IN NEW REPO HERE

I just got a new Android 10 phone and copied my songs to it. All songs are M4A format. Some songs can be played without an issue, while others can't.

I can't tell any difference between the ones that can and can't except that all songs belonging to an artist either can or can't be played.A
Edit: As mentioned in my comment below, the difference appears to be between AAC and ALAC file types. AAC files can be played fine, but ALACs won't play on the new phone.

All songs can be played through Google's Files app, and all songs can be played with Retro Music on my older Android 9 device.

I can send song files that work/don't work if needed.

I just did a bit more investigating and it appears that the songs that "couldn't be played" are in the ALAC (Apple Lossless) file format, while the others are AAC. I still don't know why this is an issue on my Motorola when it wasn't an issue on my Razer both running the same files on the version of the app.

Closing as I noticed this is an old repo.
