ECR public registry is not being updated in line with Docker Hub

Docker Hub has image versions up to 1.7.2 which is also tagged as latest (1 day ago)

Public ECR has image versions up to 1.6.0 which is also taggged as latest (6 months ago)

Please let me know if this is the wrong place to raise it. Cheers

Thanks for the report! We've just about wrapped up the work needed to publish to both registries. I'll send over an update next week.

Now it seems the ECR registry is more up to date than the Docker Hub registry.
(version 1.8.5 showing a discrepancy of being pushed to the ECR repo 9 days before Docker Hub)
Is there a recommendation as to which one to use?
