Problem

Another plugin exists in the qgis plugin repository https://github.com/FFouriauxEveha/ShapeOrientation.
According to the author, the plugin does this FFouriauxEveha/ShapeOrientation#1 (comment)

Please collaborate if they are similarities or differences in the plugin

I will try to check the ShapeOrientation plugin to see if it is sensible to collaborate.
This message reminded me that I had forgotten to upload the June version of the plugin (that allows the inclusion of a mean direction indication in the rose diagrams).

The ShapeOrientation plugin is a nice plugin, and the visualisation is excellent.
Since we discussed this the last time, the Line direction histogram plugin has been adapted to QGIS 3, and more options have been introduced to make it easier to customise the plots that are produced. But more options means more complexity...
I guess that both plugins are useful for the QGIS community.
