Crash when dragging a point and there is an invalid equation

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Adda mapping
2.Click around the center of the graph to create a control point
3.Make the equation for the first curve invalid (EG. set it to input-)
4.Click the graph to the right of the control point.
What is the actual output?
This causes a crash. It may be useful to fix issue 12 before addressing this
issue so there is is an easy way to tell whether there is an invalid equation.
