Quick Search no longer collects visited sites

On Yosemite 10.10.5 safari 9, stand 9.0.215Yosemite
It started once I updated to Safari 9, SS stopped collecting my history in quick search. The issue persists in the latest SS update 9.0.215.
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Definitely my favorite feature.
