The Debian Buster-based ISO for x86_64 is completely non-bootable.

This isn't my experience. Have you tried instead using a install-on-distro approach? https://wiki.codeemo.com/

No, as I was looking for a turn-key solution. Also of note, the downloaded iso is only 552MB, not 575MB (this is the same downloading on a different computer on the same network and a different computer and a different network).

I suppose since I'm not going to get much in the way of support regarding the ISO I will try the manual approach. Thanks anyway.

I've decided to not use MineOS since there is no real support.
