Typing location indicator is significantly offset when logged in

When I'm logged in the little yellow rectangle to indicate position is offset substantially to the left of where it should be. Before I start typing it's all the way on the left of the screen as shown in this image

When I start typing it shows about 9 characters to the left. In this image I am on the second "e" in "Engine" on the first line but the highlight is 9 characters to the left

It works fine when not logged in. The issue persists after a cache and cookie clear and across Safari, Vivaldi, and Firefox.
