there's a minor annoyance, when the search fails, the cursor should stay at the origin position

the cursor moves right if search fails

Steps to reproduce

1. press sno
2. press ;

the cursor should stay at n, but it moves right one character, keep pressing ; will cause the cursor moves more, which is inconsistant with fFtT
