are webp images supported?

That would be very useful.

webp images are not supported right now. I'd have to re-check that they're compatible with the deduper, tagger and trainer, and I think at least one of those isn't.

There's probably a tool somewhere you can use to convert a folder of webp into jpeg or png.

Thanks, Ill do that <3

@hollowstrawberry Just a small doubt, Do I need to crop images?
If not how does the trainer do it? is it cropped from the focal point? will any details or features be cropped out?

@gilroff Good question. No, you don't need to crop or resize the images in your dataset. Nowadays we use an automatic feature called buckets, which scales the images inside the trainer to have about as many pixels as a square image would. Therefore they don't need to be cropped into squares at any point of the process. With buckets there still is some minor cropping, around 2% of the image might be cropped at the edges. But as you can guess it doesn't noticeably impact the results.

Wow thank god. cropping images really was a headache lol. This is so good!
