Google Nest Cam gen 3 stream not working

The problem

I am not getting a video stream from a Google Nest Cam wired gen 3 (latest). An older Nest Cam works correctly.
The device shows up, but I'm not getting a video stream (see Living Room below)

Not sure if this is related but the integration doesn't seem to detect my Nest Doorbell Gen 3 in HA.

From the diagnostics information this appears to be using RTSP and appears to be successfully creating and extending the stream from the provided counters. Hmm.


Do you see any relevant information in the logs?


@mikedodo sounds separate given here the device is detected. See https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/nest/#cant-find-devices and file a separate issue if you're stuck.

@allenporter as far as I can tell the logs don't provide much info (if that's the logs you meant?). it contains an error about the front door camera although that's the one that works 🤔

after restarting the system i'm seeing a new error when i click on the home tile:

as far as I can tell nothing changed on the Google/Nest side in my system
