Lua snippets+UltiSnip Issue

I am recently started using vim-snippets with UltiSnips in Neovim stable.
I have noticed that the backward jump C-k of the placeholders in Lua Snippets doesn't seem to work. The forward jump works C-j
The python snippets work just work fine both ways.
Is there something I need to do in my settings make the Lua snippets function properly
