First, thanks for this awesome extension! 😉

When I use the backspace key, the reason is usually that I did a mistake. But this improves my combo power! To my mind, using backspace should decrement the combo counter, to avoid combo cheating (while True: type(a char) and type(backspace);).

Does it make sense?

I had a similar thought: an option that removes the combo contribution of key presses related to deleting and whitespaces. Perhaps it could be a multiple choice option that includes combo reset?
