Sorry, I realize a comment is not the correct place for this. However, I couldn't find any contact information.
Did you ever get this working? I find myself with the same issue.

Not yet, I've gone down the path of least resistance for now and using JPA, so far so good, my project is pretty simple so far.

Seems to work now, I've updated to a recent Boot and fixed my silly mapper and schema.
