Currently this repo has some unreviewed PRs and open issues, but haven't been updated since over a half year ago.

I'd happily maintain this repo if you want to collaborate me.

I met @hparra in Los Angeles not long ago, he doesn't seem like the type to let a package die like this. It seems like he has been totally gone from the internet since November (according to twitter), maybe something happened?

@hparra responded to my tweet, seems to be there just super busy. Maybe it's possible to convince him to transfer the ownership of npm package.

Any package to use meanwhile that performs renames with sourcemaps support? Maybe it's time for a gulp-rename2 package?

https://github.com/AlicanC/gulp-rename has the fixes that got me here.

I've added @shinnn and @contra as collaborators both here and on npm. I feel unqualified to merge anything since I haven't used Gulp in at least 6 months.

@hparra What do you think about coding style? Currently this project uses mixed spaces/tabs. If you kindly accept it, I would like to switch the indents to 2 spaces.
