Sometimes when a connection is open for a very long time (hours, days, weeks), the connection to the HANA might time out. Subsequent queries will then fail and the connection is closed completely.
A requested feature (SAP-archive#84) is to add an option that allows for automatic reconnects when querying a broken HANA connection
