Hmm, it's working for me now. From the error shown there, I'd bet this was caused by an intermittent connection issue with Sentry, downloading an internal part of that dependency.

If you try it again now, does it working for you?

If not, can you let me know what NPM version you're using?

@pimterry I guess sentry is banned here. I can't even open this link https://downloads.sentry-cdn.com/sentry-cli/1.61.0/sentry-cli-Darwin-x86_64. So, it might be failing. Anyway, I don't know why it is downloading for x86 when I am clearly on arm.

I am closing this issue. I do blanket bans on ads and trackers via nextdns, so this might be the reason.

Ah, quite possible! Sentry doesn't do ads or user analytics, but it does do error reporting, which gets put into the same bucket on some lists. If you're blocking the domain entirely that could cause this.

It's not used for local development anyway, just for the production bundle. I think you can probably just uninstall @sentry/webpack-plugin and this error should go away.
