Bug: playground and compare features no longer work in v2.4 in production or current staging

This was an issue discovered in v2.3, Bruce fixed on the fly on Wednesday August 4th for staging and production, but it looks like it might be back, but affects BOTH Playground AND Compare modes.
The DIFFERENCE, is in v2.3 on August 4th, the playground feature worked, and only compare feature did not work.
NOW, NEITHER work.

Thank you for looking into this. I’ve been having this issue but did not understand the error because too generic, and thought it might be an issue with 3 am working… like maybe something was in back-up mode and unavailable . Now that I realize it still happens during regular day… it’s good to know why.

Alright looks like two different bugs

Compare not working on prod is not related to what is happening on staging

Let me fix staging and if that fixes compare there, then I"ll pull to prod.

I think I figured out one piece, which might take care of the second piece on staging

Ok fixed both issues on staging. Will pull into prod next 🙂
