Let creator specify how many people may join the group.
In general, a study group should contain no more than 5~15 people

I don't know if this would help. As a creator, I wouldn't have an idea of how many members, and in general this would stifle the initial growth. Maybe an enhancement after we get feedback.

Well just in case we do not want a study group of 20+ people. Usually for final projects, we have a headcount of people size and people usually use emails to communicate, which is inefficient (not willing to use FB if do not know each other well). Our app can be a good substitute

EDIT: I understand it's optimistic to say we would have a lot of people register study groups. But just in case if we do, it might be better to let the creator specify his/her ideal study group size.
