Unicode phonetic symbols not processed

Try e.g. "homage". In Larousse Chambers phonetic transcription always looks
like [02C8;h0252;m026A;d0292;]. In some other dictionaries (Thesaurus)
unreadable blocks sometimes appear as in the herewith attached file.
I am using stardict.exe 3.0.3 on Windows XP Sp3.
