Hey @kentaurse thanks for reaching out! I would love to have additional contributors to Hyparquet and related libraries.

Were there any features or issues you would be interested in taking on? Happy to discuss some of the features I would like to see, such as:

  • Push down query engine
  • Use additional parquet metadata like OffsetIndex and Bloom filters
  • Improved parsing speed for large data files
