Is there a system for when the containers run out

I was wondering if there was some system for this since it would be nice to be aware of which parts have run out so that we can be able to refill the bins since I was looking for 0.1uF capacitors and there's none in the multiple containers that I checked.
Happy to help to implement this feature.

Not yet. I don't think that people even update the number currently because it is tedious. That should be made easier, e.g. a one line form 'checking out [ ] components'. Then we could generate stats of things running out.
Pull requests welcome :)

Maybe we could have a system for things that have run out to generate a
report and make an order from mouser every 2-3 months or when we reach a
certain threshold. I'd suggest keeping track of a list of components that
are no longer available, it could be populated from people that check the
containers and realize that the item is no longer available.
I agree with you that it's tedious to update the components number.
