Tag a release?

Is there any chance this module could be tagged with a release, so that future changes won't affect composer updates. I'm going to require this in my shop module, and therefore need to ensure it won't change unexpectedly on its users.

note that for this to work in composer/packagist, you need to use three digits, eg: v1.0.0
