Some file icons do not have corner fold

Why do some file icons do not have a "corner fold" and others have it:
File icons with corner fold (examples):
- file-video
- file-alt
- file-code
- file-powerpoint
- file-excel
File icons without corner fold:
- file-audio
- file-word
- file-pdf
- file-archive
Why is that?
It looks unfinished and also does not look consistent.
(And also, why does the file-word logo have such a weird W?)
