- IIRC using NixOS unstable on pi sucked because it was constantly changing, and very slow to build and reconfigure. Will NixOS Stable + constant kernel version improve things?
- Where to put MQTT broker? Mosquitto in cloud/local? Ejabberd in cloud? How to feed it to a cloud InfluxDB instance?
- How to monitor this instance from cloud Prometheus?
- How to do CD on it?
Most of these are solved with a VPN.
