Since Raspberry Pi OS Upgrade Accessory Resets to Unpaired when Restarted

Hi and thank you for this amazing work. I have been running an accessory that I created on Raspberry Pi for more than a year perfectly. Then I performed an OS upgrade a month ago and since then, every time I stop and restart the Accessory, the Pairing QR Code is displayed even though I had just successfully paired before. And there's even an accessory.state file created when I paired the accessory with HomeKit. It's just that with every restart of the accessory code, it seems not to find that pairing information... or something.
I checked the permissions on the .state file and all users can read/write to it.
Any other ideas MUCH appreciated!
Ok, so I solved this. I simply uninstalled and reinstalled HAP-python and all the permissions, etc. got fixed and all is well. Thanks!
