parser for nimi X

Some people, like myself, use nimi X to refer to the toki pona word itself. It is already grammatical: nimi soweli means "a word related to animal". What if the word is a particle however? What about nimi li? Sometimes people use quotation to make it clearer: nimi "li".

This issue will track implementation of a general nimi X parser.

Question, is this really a common thing?

I don't think nimi li should be translated as the word "li". however, if it is quoted nimi "li", then it should be translated as such.

I might reopen this issue after we can translate quotations.
