about the speed of uploading

hi dear ,
in that youtube tutorial the uplaod and listing speed was faster than the actual one . even i have 89mb/second internet speed still the python runs slow . my laptop is 4gb 500gb ms windows 2010 . how can i increase the upload speed , its taking 1hours to upload 23images .
