Any plans for tab pinning?

This sounds very promising, but a truly awesome plugin would allow for convenient tab pinning on the left side, like Chrome or Firefox can do.

Do you have any plans for implementing something like that?

Nope. I don't have plans to add features to cosyTabs.

See if Glims does that, or if the pinboard extension helps. You could also just switch back to Chrome.
