Better instructions in filter.md

Is it possible to make a better instruction in the filter.md file?

With the current instructions I have no idea what to add/change, and we are not able to use the filter function.

Since rebranding DataDefinitions the paths in the instructions also don't match anymore.

Can this please be updated soon so it's possible we can use filters?
