Browser Tab explosion with authentication requests

Describe the question

Upfront, I have OIDC and Kubernetes working hand in hand.
There is however a major annoyance, I am not certain how to get rid of.

This is how my browser looks like after I left my laptop idling for 5 hours.
Each tab is an authentication request.

Now I wonder, how to get rid of it or mitigate it so it doesn't happen that frequently.

A console log or steps to reproduce the issue.
