After installing Simics Debugger Extension, still it says, The debug type is not recognized when tried to attach to Simics Process

Mixed debug is handled by the VS code extension, not DLS. I.e. this is filed in the wrong location,

The correct location is https://github.com/intel-innersource/applications.simulators.simics.base.simics-modeling-vscode-extension/issues , but before you post one there, make sure to read https://github.com/intel/vscode-simics/wiki
