eslint - lots and lots of issues

eslint really has tonnes of problems, a quick scan suggests most aren't issues and may need ignoring is eslint, but they need a careful looking at so that it eslint-s ok.

Its going to be a while .... I fixed up MirrorFS and it took around an hour to get the eslint-ing to work OK, it was far from automated and I think some are new issues due to changes in eslint rules ? I found a total of 1 bug (in some unlikely to run error handling) so while I'll continue, this is going to be low priority.
