Flexibility to include/exclude domain name in the usernames

A good add-on would be to provide the flexibility to include/exclude domain name in the usernames.
For example a user could have a user name on slack as abc.xyz and abc.xyz@domain.com on JIRA (edited)
BenTen doesn't work with the users in our community as they have domain name appended in their JIRA usernames
