ion-datetime does not allow click and drag to scroll through wheel

Current behavior

  • We can only scroll through date-time picker using mouse wheel or 2 finger scroll gesture, but not using mouse click and drag.
  • It makes difficult for the users to change date who do not have mouse wheel

Expected behavior

  • Should be able to click on a date and drag to scroll over dates.

Thanks for the report. Please fill out the issue template in its entirety. This helps us triage issues faster. Can you please clarify what you are trying to do?

The wheel picker is designed for mobile application and is not intended for desktop use. Datetime does support keyboard and screen reader entry for scenarios where touch is not feasible. Arrow keys can be used to navigate between wheel options, and VoiceOver/TalkBack can be used to navigate between wheel options.
