IOS *-Info.Plist. LSApplicationQueriesSchemes.

I have started using Ionic package instead of deploying from a mac.
Previously I used to add entries to the *-Info.Plist file, specifically entries into LSApplicationQueriesSchemes. I can not do this with the package service.
I tried via config.xml but it doesn't work. Seems like some else has a similar issue - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/41019684/ionic-2-add-url-schemes-automatically-to-the-whitelist-for-ios-from-config-xml
It's possible a different pluging (facebook4) is overriding, but I cant tell.
I know this is not the best place but this issue is stopping me from using the service and i'm guessing i'm not the only one.
After asking around seems like you need a to create a custom plugin.
