IOTA Wallet Blanking version 2.5.7

I logged into my old 2.4 version of IOTA Light Wallet for the first time in 4 months today and found that the IOTA was gone.
I updated to the latest 2.5.7 and followed the instructions i found on Medium about 'reattahing Tangle. to get my iota back. Now my wallet is just at a blank when i try and log in.
Where is my IOTA and why is the wallet blanking out? Its ike white blank.

Update: Now it just says "Attaching to Tangle" with the orange bar just updating itself over and over again...

ANd now it just goes to black! It took about 10min to get to this point. The whole wallet is black.
