Option to start as stand-alone application

I would like to use this to connect to Home Assistant on my Linux phone running Phosh (which doesn't have a sys tray). Would it be possible to pass a command line argument or detect the running environment then run as a stand-alone application without the sys tray component?

I do not have Linux phone and I'm not planning to make any version for phones right now.
