Using Lineage OS 14.1 on Nexus 5, module records only my side (my voice).
If "Force audio source" is enabled - nothing is being recorded

Same for me in Moto G4 Plus LOS 14.1

los15.1 s9 starlte same. region is germany. with samsung stockrom the integrated record8ng tool worked just fine.

edit:force audio source fixed it for me.

I have Nexus 5. LineageOS 14.1-20190126-NIGHTLY-hammerhead.

Try enable Force Audio Source and mp4 format options.

This is a bit out of topic. In MokeeOS for Nexus 5 (based on LOS 14.1), call recording is enabled and is working.
