Can I assume that there won't be breaking changes to iron-core's API?

Hello,

I am considering using iron-core in a Meteor package I am developing.
Can I assume that there won't be breaking changes to iron-core's API in future versions?
Do you chiefly regard iron-core as a tool for your own "in-house" needs or do you take into account potential out side developers that might use it?
