ALT+TAB makes the game crash/become unresponsive

Hello! Thank you for your hard work with this tool, it (and your various youtube videos/work) are amazing! I've got the game essentially running perfectly - The only issue I have now is that every time I ALT + TAB and then try to go back into the game, it becomes unresponsive. I've tried all the compatibility stuff built into Windows on ISLE.exe, all the different type of renders (HAL, MMX, etc), and anything else I can think of.
Normally I would just deal with it but the person I'm setting this up for is a Streamer (who wants to stream the game) and so they need to be able to alt + tab to change scenes, etc. I'm hoping maybe there's some way to fix it. Thank you!
Have you tried enabling these two options?
This is a problem with LEGO Island itself on modern versions of Windows. You may have luck getting around this by using DDrawCompat.
