Describe the solution you'd like
The graph needs to be fully visable within one page depending on screen resolution (excluding mobile).
The idea is an overview, therefore the graph needs to understood at the first look

Describe alternatives you've considered
hide secondary opc ua standards and regarding #5 have a selection of standards that are visualized

I agree but which opc ua stanards are secondary?

For the information modeling I would say:

  • Discovery
  • PubSub
  • Profiles (maybe)
  • Mappings
  • Services
  • Security
  • Overview

Part 2-14.
Deselect Part 2-14 in initial loading of the page and have the possibility to select them for visualization.

Currently, the graph is structured by the axes date and type. I don't see that the publication date and the old releases have such a high priority in the presentation. I propose to use the date as the z-axis, so initially hide the date, stack all versions of a spec and only show the current release, listing old versions and release candidates when showing the details of the spec. Then we can arrange the specs in another manner, e.g. circular, with four areas for the types. We could then provide a slider for sliding through time. I could also imagine a 3d version.

@digitalshow: If we use the z-axis, we need a new scale for the x-axis. Do you have any idea what we could display on the x-axis?
@fernwerker: Part 1 isn't really important to me. I would be more interested in which parts of information modeling are used: Part 3,5,8-10
But maybe we could focus here on the OPC UA version (1, 1.02, 1.04,...) and not the individual parts.

@digitalshow The importance is in the dependencies to other standards. E.g. if a current valid version of a Companion Specification is developed based on an old OPC UA Specification, it is important to see this dependency.
I'd not include a third axis. Keep it small and simple.
@Kantiran91 if you prefer other parts, select them. I'd propose to use the Overview, because it is the most generic OPC UA Specification and every visitor can select his own Specifications to be included.

@digitalshow please try to implement a selection for the specifications
