Poorly written instructions.

WOW, i am shocked at the poorly written instructions... no guide. just brief notes here and there... no wonder this project hasnt gained much support. take some pride in your work man.
Unfortunately, the upstream developers only work for the official build in Flatpak format. If I consult their "issues" I can only see what they have changed in the lines of code... but there is not much information on how to build it on a normal distribution.
I would have preferred to compile it from GIT instead of merging two of my projects to create this "Debian+Arch Linux" hybrid.
no. my issue is with install instructions. you give no instructions. what to do to install ? run the sh files ? sh bottles.sh ? if i do that i get an error...
you should give better instructions on how to compile or use your stuff when you put it out there.
The fact that I have indicated the script used and the requirements (so far found, depending on the distribution in use) should already suggest that the script must be executed. Also, if you have decent knowledge of BASH, you should read the script and see if some commands are included on your system.
What kind of errors are you finding? Shouldn't you open an issue by adding at least one terminal output before criticizing the "poverty" of my "guide"?
If you are referring to the ready build, it is in "releases", this is an AppImage. Made it executable and run it (requirements are on the README, at least GLIBC equal to the one of Debian Stable or newer... and Imagemagick).
I hope this README is OK, for you and for that asshole that said shit on Reddit about my amateur project. Bye.
