Does this support workspace at all?

I see the roadmap has Multiple workspaces (in the same window) support.

But in my case I have a single workspace in a window, so I'm not sure if my use case is supposed to be supported or it's on the roadmap: I have a single workspace containing multiple git repos.

So I get an error like:

fatal: ../repo2/.editorconfig: '../repo2/.editorconfig' is outside repository at '/Users/me/git/repo1'
