IDE crashes when previewing material Ubuntu 15.04

Although I doubt this is a OS-specific issue I've included the SO I'm using. This happens even when previewing the Material on the Lighting and Materials 3D demo, also when creating and then previewing a material in any project. I did my best to track the source of the error, but I've just started playing around with the editor and can't really tell where things come from. Console reports the following:
