No way to set the width of color picker differently on different breakpoints.

I want to change the width of color picker on mobile breakpoints but I am not able to find any in-built way to do so. In one of the Github issues I saw a resize() method but that doesn't seem to help.
Can anyone let me know whether resize() method works for them or not ? If yes how to use it in the correct way.
