Error: Bad Call to the API

I would like to use this on my server for a couple goofs, but I can't get it to work. The only things I've changed is the user, key, token, and I also changed the nick variable in both places to fit my bot. When I mention the bot with a query, it says typing but never replies. I added a line that prints the error code and I get "Error: Bad Call to the API." I tried finding information about this issue but only saw that it could be related to the servers being down. It's been a few hours, and nothing yet. Is this bot no longer working, is their system down, or what? Thanks

Have you:

  1. Double checked that you're using the correct api key and user for cleverbot.io?
  2. Checked if cleverbot.io is online? (It is now, but it was offline most of yesterday)?

It works now, I didn't expect it to be offline for such a long amount of time. Thanks for your help :)
