I recently discovered that if I add anyone to my repo's collaborators list, their accounts will be automatically watch my repo. Isn't that weird because I can make anyone on GitHub as collaborators?

I added Mr. Torvalds and several other great guys to collaborator, and guess what, everyone who had followed them can see this event in their feed. I felt sorry to do so, but anyone found this feature strange?

Good to let people choose whether to join the collaborator list/watch the repo or not.
