I'm actually on the core development team for the UWP toolkit. It has in the past been discussed however there is too much here. If there are components you'd like to see in the UWP community toolkit, please submit a request with that toolkit with a reference to the component here.

I'm more than happy to discuss with the other core team on features from the toolkit also.

That's great. I would say migrate fancy controls for a start? :)
