I also get this issue, I managed to work out its actually some kind of conflict with Raycast. When I close Raycast the CMD + N shortcut works but when Raycast is running, it does not work.

Other apps like my browser work properly with CMD + N when Raycast is running so this seems to be Jan specific

@louis-jan I've compiled Jan from the dev branch that includes the fix (1b7ee7773 (HEAD -> dev, origin/dev, origin/HEAD) fix: command + N does not work (#6890)), and the issue is still here: CMD+N doesn't open a new chat.

Same here still not working macosVersion 15.7.1 (24G231) and Jan version is Version 0.7.2 (0.7.2)
